The spring term seems to have flown by, and this year we have had several days of springlike weather. Easter is late this year, and I will just remind you that students return on Tuesday 22nd April. This is the day after Easter Monday, so I'm sure they will all be full up with Easter Eggs!

 

As you will be aware on the first week in March, we had our annual three-day two Inspector Residential Ofsted. I would like to thank all the parents and carers who responded to the Ofsted questionnaire and went onto parent view. I am pleased to say that for the fourth consecutive year we have been judged as OUTSTANDING in all areas. The inspectors could see the progress we had made since the last inspection. This highlights how we never as a care team sit back, we are always looking at ways we can improve our practice and how we care for and educate the students. There are two points for improvement, both of which we have plans to meet.

I like that at this time of the year the staff are starting to plan the exciting summer activity program, this will include the ever-popular motorbikes and go-karts group, the coastal activities from beach games to coasteering, surfing, to sea-pool. Indeed, the juniors have been going to the beach for the last few weeks, I must say they can stand the cold better than myself. I'm also looking forward to welcoming you all to the annual open day on Friday 23rd May. Further details will be sent nearer the time, but it would be great to see you all here to enjoy the fun and a lovely BBQ, as well as a chance to catch up with staff regarding your son’s progress.
