The students have been working hard in the school garden this term.
They have transported lots of soil for the raised beds, and planted lots of vegetable seeds.
We have runner beans, potatoes, lettuces and tomatoes coming along nicely.
Our strawberries and raspberries and herb garden are also looking good.
Hopefully we will all be able to enjoy some fresh fruit and veg before we break up for the summer!

Students at Marland showcased skill and sportsmanship during the annual pool competition this week. The tournament brought together players from all class groups to compete in friendly and focused pool matches. Many great matches were played and some spectacular shots were seen.
Staff praised the students for their participation as they promoted positive competition and good social interaction. A great way to end 2025 with plans underway to make next year’s competition even bigger and better.
Congratulations to everyone involved and well done to the winners:
