Transition

In Transition the students have access to a broad and balanced curriculum incorporating both Key Stage 2 and 3 subject areas. The main emphasis in Transition is to re-engage students with learning through a nurturing approach which focuses on securing the skills to be effective learners.

Students have the chance to attend Forest School during their time in the Transition centre as well experiencing lots of other enrichment and Thrive® opportunities, from attending Farm School, to Arts & Crafts and cooking in the Transition kitchen.

Students in Transition follow a Primary model where they predominately remain in the Transition Centre with the same Teaching & Learning staff and student group.
